Programs

Having a set plan for each player is very important for our program! By setting yearly goals and explaining the process we hope to build stronger players and people for the future! Here we have a quick look at the pathway we have for our youth!

Not just a club, it’s a Culture!

U9 - 2018/2019

Soccer starts with the ball. At U9, every session is built around touches, comfort, and confidence — players falling in love with the game one skillful moment at a time.

This isn't about the scoreboard; it's about building the technical foundation that Portuguese-style development is known for, where close control and creativity come before anything else.

Coaches, parents, and players share one goal at this stage: pure enjoyment of the ball. It's the first step on the NAFC pathway, and the culture starts here.

U11 - 2016/2017

At U11, players begin turning raw ball love into real technical habits — first touch, close control, and the instinct to want the ball in tight spaces.

Training stays playful, but the details start to matter: how a player receives, how they turn, how they see the game around them. This is where NAFC's technical identity takes shape, laying the groundwork for the tactical understanding that comes next.

Still no trophies chasing the headlines — just daily improvement and a growing love for the craft of the game.

U13 - 2014/2015

U13 is where the game starts to open up. Players move from pure technique into tactical understanding — reading space, combining with teammates, and starting to think a step ahead.

This is the bridge between grassroots development and competitive soccer, and NAFC leans into it: structured principles of play layered on top of the technical foundation already built.

The satisfaction shifts too — from a clean touch to a well-executed sequence of play, from individual skill to team cohesion.

U15 - 2012/2013

By U15, players are expected to combine technique and tactics under real pressure.

Training sharpens around decision-making — when to hold the ball, when to release it, how to organize as a unit.

This is a pivotal stage in the NAFC pathway, where the technical foundation from earlier years gets tested against faster, smarter opponents.

The reward is watching the game slow down for players who've put in the work — seeing the field the way a well-trained player should.

U17 - 2010/2011

U17 is competitive soccer with purpose.

Players are pushed to perform under pressure, make quick decisions, and execute with precision — the payoff of years spent building technical and tactical foundations.

This is where the NAFC culture is most visible: composed on the ball, intelligent in possession, and relentless without it.

The standard rises here, and so does the intensity, as players prepare for the highest level of youth soccer the club offers.

U19 - 2008/2009

U19 is the top of the pathway — where technical mastery, tactical intelligence, and competitive edge come together.

Players train and compete with the intensity of the level ahead of them, whether that's provincial competition, university soccer, or simply the pride of finishing their youth career at the highest standard NAFC develops.

This is the culmination of everything the club stands for: not just a club, but a culture of development, carried all the way through.

Varsity - U18

Varsity is fast, physical, and demanding — competitive indoor 11v11 soccer through the fall and winter months.

It's an opportunity for players to stay sharp, keep competing, and apply everything built through the outdoor season in a different, high-tempo format.

Quick decisions, composure under pressure, and the same technical identity that defines NAFC across every age group — just indoors, and just as intense.
